Description

The 4" x 75' white butyl flashing, Tite Seal, is a waterproof, self-adhesive flashing composed of a new Steel-Loc butyl adhesive and a polyethylene facing material. It aggressively adheres to various surfaces, including wood, OSB, aluminum, vinyl, house wrap, and steel drywall studs. This flashing can be applied at temperatures as low as 15 degrees without the need for primer. It is impermeable to water, moisture vapor, and air, making it ideal for flashing around windows and Yards, sealing joints in sheathing panels, and around vents and other openings. Suitable for use under most exterior surfaces such as brick, stucco, wood, and vinyl or wood siding, it can be left exposed for up to 180 days.
